26 May 2026 – Howard Pepper named an Industry Icon 2026 by Insurance Business UK
We are thrilled to share that our Managing Director, Howard Pepper, has been named an Industry Icon 2026 by Insurance Business UK, an award that recognises standout leaders shaping the global insurance industry. In his own words, Howard dedicates this award to our partners, appointed representatives, and the Momentum team.
“I am both honoured and surprised to have been recognised as an Industry Icon 2026 by Insurance Business UK. Whilst I appreciate the recognition, for me, it’s really about the great people at Momentum who together have built a business we are proud of.
“After a career in the corporate broking world, a chance encounter on a village street back in 2010 led to the idea of Momentum Broker Solutions. We wanted to build a business that enables independent brokers to access support to empower them to compete in an ever more challenging market. There was never a grand plan, I believed there was a gap that needed to be filled and took it from there. Fifteen years on, Momentum has grown to over 110 broker partners and 100+ colleagues. The numbers that matter most are the businesses we’ve helped build, and the individuals and teams who’ve gone on to thrive. We are grateful to the partners who backed us when we were still finding our feet and are still with us today. When we started out, the market was already shifting fast and independent brokers were under real pressure. We believed then, and still do, that success is best achieved together. Everything Momentum has become is down to the loyalty of our appointed representatives, the trust of our insurer partners, and the hard work of our colleagues.
