3rd Annual Partners in Success Conference: Celebrating Our Independent Brokers
On Thursday, 19 November 2024, we welcomed over 160 attendees to our 3rd Annual Partners in Success Conference in Nottingham. Bringing together our Broker and Insurer Partners, the conference underscored Momentum’s commitment to empowering independent brokers, reflecting the value we place on partnership, innovation, and the independent spirit we share with our Broker Partners.
The day began with an introduction from Managing Director Howard Pepper, setting the stage for a day focused on growth, collaboration, and the future of independent brokers. Jason Howes, Chief Transformation Officer at Allianz , then took the spotlight with a keynote on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in the insurance sector. He discussed innovations such as ChatGPT, Gamma, autonomous vehicles, and virtual avatars, illuminating how these technologies are reshaping both the industry and our daily lives.
Following the announcement of our equity partnership with AUB earlier this year, guests welcomed Operations Director Hazel Westwood to the stage. She delivered a presentation showcasing our commitment to supporting our partners’ future plans through funding and identifying acquisition opportunities to fast-track growth. This was followed by an extended networking session where Broker and Insurer Partners connected with the wider Momentum team. Our bustling insurance marketplace offered brokers a chance to engage directly with insurers, explore new policies, and discuss strategies to better serve their clients.
The afternoon featured two insightful breakout sessions, one led by the Business Systems Team and another by the Compliance Team. The day’s events culminated with an interactive Q&A hosted by the Senior Management Team, who answered questions from attendees and offered a forward-looking perspective on industry trends and Momentum’s role in driving success for our partners.
In the evening, we celebrated our Broker Partners’ achievements with an elegant awards dinner, highlighting milestones reached over the past year. Award recipients were honoured in style, with their names displayed prominently on digital signage both inside and outside the venue. Following the awards presentation, the evening transitioned into entertainment featuring magicians – with Momentum Conference Radio providing the soundtrack.
